AFF stands for “Accelerated Free Fall” – a fast-track freefall course. It is a modern form of skydiving training, led by experienced instructors.
You will learn to control and coordinate your body through 50 seconds of freefall, to perform horizontal and vertical turns and somersaults, to orientate yourself in the air relative to the ground, and to fly your parachute correctly once it has opened.
We start with the theory: body position in freefall, turns, orientation and steering the parachute.
10 minutes in the freefall simulator at Hurricane Factory in Liptovský Mikuláš. You will practise turns, somersaults and orientation.
Jumps from 4,000 m with an instructor, with views of the Slovak Paradise during the 25-minute climb. You open the parachute yourself – with assistance at first, later on your own. The rig includes a reserve parachute and a VIGIL II automatic activation device.
After the course you receive an International Parachutist Licence and video footage of all your jumps. The instructors will advise you on where to go next.
